NYRD Series Guided Wave Radar Level Meter

This guided wave radar level meter adopts High frequency microwave pulse time domain reflectometry (TDR) technology , measures the level through microwave pulse signals propagating along steel cables or steel rods. When the pulse encounters the surface of the medium (dielectric constant changes suddenly), part of the energy is reflected back to the receiver, and the microprocessor accurately calculates the time difference and converts it into a level signal. This product is suitable for continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries and granular solids, especially for complex working conditions with high temperature, high pressure, low dielectric constant or strong adhesion media.

Description

How it works
The high-frequency microwave pulses emitted by the guided wave radar propagate along the detection component (steel cable or steel rod). When encountering the measured medium, the dielectric constant changes suddenly, causing reflection, and part of the pulse energy is reflected back. The time interval between the transmitted pulse and the reflected pulse is proportional to the distance of the measured medium.

Design Principle
The guided wave radar level meter adopts advanced microwave processing technology and unique Echo Discovery echo processing technology, contact measurement, high measurement accuracy, and more accurate measurement. At the same time, the guided wave radar is resistant to adhesion and is not affected by external environment such as medium temperature and adhesion.
A variety of process connection methods and detection component types make the 70X series guided wave radar level meter suitable for various complex working conditions and applications, such as high temperature, high pressure and small dielectric constant media.
